Eye of the Storm Podcast / ZB, ZN, ZF, ZT, SPX, NDX, GC, SI, $DXY / 1/15/2023 by Michael Filighera

On tonight’s Podcast I discuss Modern Monetary Theory as it applies to the current situation and how we got here.  I believe it remains important to understand what the FED is doing and NOT doing.  Keeping perspective on the interest rates and monetary policy will remain important and critical when putting together all that is being said and done.  I update the treasuries both price wise and yield wise.  I discuss the current Elliott counts and what may be happening this coming week and why.  I update the SPX and the NDX cash markets where I’m still looking for the completion of Minor 2nd waves with stronger Minor 3rd waves still waiting to begin.

I discuss gold and the current rally picking up the pace and why.  Silver remains the “tortoise” in this race, but I feel it may still win the race.  Finally, I update the $DXY where my current count isn’t likely to play out currently.  In any case the $DXY is likely to continue a bit longer to the downside and when a rally comes into play it will more corrective and not a run towards the 120 level as I originally thought.
